Tina Tarin: MIXfm's Woman of the Year
On April
26, 2006 Tina Tarin received the award for the MIXfm's Woman of the Year. Bobby
Rich, of the Bobby and Brad show on 94.9MIXfm presented the award.
The Women's Foundation of Southern Arizona and 94.9MIXfm created a special award for a Tucson woman who is a role model, mentor, helper and leader. 94.9MIXfm listeners submitted nominations and their judges determined that Tina is a woman who silently empowers other women.
Tina is a Violence Prevention Specialist for the Oasis Program at The Univeristy of Arizona. Last year she founded LifePower Safety Coaching and she serves as a Member of the Board for ELLA. Tina is also one of our volunteer instructors.
We are proud to have Tina as part of ELLA.
