On May 13, 2006, ELLA Group was awarded a grant from the Unidas Girls' Philanthropy Program in the amount of $10,000. Thanks to the generous funding and support from the Lovell Foundation and Every Voice in Action Foundation TM, the Women’s Foundation was able to re-institute the Unidas program in January 2006.  The Unidas Program teaches high school-aged girls about leadership, philanthropy and social justice issues through a hands-on experience in grantmaking.

Thanks to the Unidas Program, ELLA was able to purchase equipment needed to teach classes. Part of the grant money is for Scholarships for all those who cannot afford the fee.
